Alain has more than 15 years of experience supporting entrepreneurs. He has helped establish dozens of cooperatives in different regions across Quebec and used his expertise to serve more than 500 entrepreneurs in the process of transferring their business.

He works with all types of transfers—family, internal, external and collective—relating to businesses of all sizes and in a wide range of business sectors.

He's known for his analytical skills and his ability to synthesize, and he is passionate about business development and the work of entrepreneurs. A relationship of trust is at the heart of all of his projects.

Patricia Girard has a bachelor's degree in international politics from the University of Ottawa. She has also completed financial planning training in the management sciences department at UQAM as well as several courses offered as part of the master's program in taxation at Université de Sherbrooke. After serving as a regional financial planner and manager of retirement investment development for a financial institution, she now supports Desjardins Securities' high and very-high net worth clients, whose complex situations require extensive research, in a partnership with the firm's wealth managers.

Laurent has a financial planner designation and a bachelor's degree in economic science from the Université de Sherbrooke. He has also worked as a financial security advisor in 2012 for the SFL network. In 2015, he joined Desjardins Financial Security (DFS) as a consultant and became a regional business development manager in 2017. In 2019, he continued his career at DFS in Vancouver, still as a regional sales director. Bringing back to Quebec in 2022, he took on the role of interim manager for the Product and Concept Expertise team at Desjardins Financial Security in Montreal, then joined Desjardins Securities Financial Services Firm to support Desjardins Securities' mass-affluent and high-net-worth clients.

Mathieu has a master's degree in taxation and has been working as a tax specialist since 2016 after many years as a financial planner at Desjardins. As a tax specialist, Mathieu has helped business owners with every aspect of their business journey, from the earliest stages to the end of their career, including the sale or transfer of their business.

Stéphane Thibault

Stéphane is a chartered professional accountant with a master's degree in tax law. Over the last 15 years, he's gained solid expertise in Canadian and Quebec taxation. He developed in-depth knowledge of tax rules for individuals and businesses, as well as investment, savings and retirement vehicles.
